How do I unlock my Bankai as a Soul Reaper?
You need to complete the following steps:
- Reach 705 Potential through training
- Collect 160 Spirit Orbs from around Soul Society
- Complete Kisuke's full questline
- Face and defeat your own Bankai Spirit in combat
Your Bankai Spirit will use your own equipped skills, so bring your best build.
How long does it take to evolve to Vasto Lorde as a Hollow?
The Hollow path requires 1700 evolution points to reach Vasto Lorde. There's a checkpoint at 1250 points.
With active farming in Hueco Mundo, expect approximately 2-4 weeks of dedicated play. The path is considered the most challenging but also the most rewarding.
Why are some Common rarity skills better than Legendary ones?
Rarity does NOT equal strength in Paradox. The gacha probabilities are:
- Common: 89%
- Rare: 10%
- Legendary: 1%
Examples of underrated Common skills:
- Heaven Resurrection (Common) — A-tier Hollow Resurrection
- Wind Shikai (Common) — A-tier mobility/damage
Example of overrated Legendary:
- Divinity Shikai (Legendary) — D-tier. One of the worst skills.
What are Skill Core / Crystal / Gem used for?
Skill points invested in trees only unlock eligibility. You need separate items to actually activate skills:
- Skill Core — Activates Tier 1 skills
- Skill Crystal — Activates Tier 2 skills
- Skill Gem — Activates Tier 3 (ultimate) skills
Kisuke drops these at Potential breakpoints: 125, 250, 375, 500, 625.
How do I complete the Quincy path?
- Reach 705 Potential
- Wait for Yhwach NPC to spawn (every 2 hours in Wandenreich)
- Defeat 20 Soul Reapers in PvP
- Defeat 20 Hollows/Arrancars in PvP
- Defeat 4 Lunar Bosses (spawns every 90 minutes)
- Unlock Vollstandig — your Quincy ultimate form
What is Wipe Essence used for?
Wipe Essence resets your entire character inventory. It is extremely rare.
Only use it when:
- You've completely ruined your build
- You want a fresh start
Never trade Wipe Essence — it's worth more than most Legendary skills due to its rarity.
How often do bosses spawn?
- World Boss — Every 60 minutes in Karakura Town
- Yhwach — Every 120 minutes in Wandenreich
- Eternal Flame — Every 180 minutes in Hueco Mundo (best Hogyoku farming)
- Lunar Boss — Every 90 minutes. 4 required for Quincy path.
Can I switch factions after choosing one?
Yes, you can progress multiple factions, but each has separate requirements:
- Soul Reaper — 705 Potential + Kisuke quests + Bankai fight
- Quincy — 705 Potential + PvP kills + Yhwach + Lunar bosses
- Hollow — 1700 evolution points (separate system)
You can work on all three simultaneously, but each is a significant time investment.
