Your first steps into the world of Paradox. Learn the core mechanics, choose your faction, and start your journey.

Welcome to Paradox

Paradox is a Bleach-themed Roblox ARPG featuring three distinct factions: Soul Reaper, Quincy, and Hollow/Arrancar. Each path offers unique abilities, progression mechanics, and ultimate forms.

First Steps:

Start by exploring Karakura Town — the neutral main city. Here you'll find training zones, shops, and the path to all three faction hubs.

Faction Overview

Soul Reaper (Shinigami)

The classic hero path. Focuses on Zanpakuto (sword) combat and spiritual pressure.

  • Training Dojo — Spend 50 yen to train and gain Potential
  • Spirit Orbs — Collect 160 orbs scattered across maps
  • Kisuke's Quest — Complete Urahara Kisuke's questline for rewards
  • Bankai Spirit — Face and defeat your own Bankai manifestation

Quincy

The ranged attacker path. Uses Heilig Bogen (holy bow) and powerful Quincy techniques.

  • Yhwach NPC — Spawns every 2 hours in Wandenreich
  • PvP Requirement — Defeat 20 Soul Reapers and 20 Hollow/Arrancars
  • Lunar Bosses — Defeat 4 Lunar Bosses to complete the path
  • Vollstandig — Quincy ultimate form upon completion

Hollow / Arrancar

The evolution path. Start weak and grow powerful through the Devour system.

  • Fishbone — Your starting Hollow form
  • Devour — Attack enemies to absorb evolution points
  • Checkpoint — 1250 points unlocks intermediate evolution
  • Vasto Lorde — Final form at 1700 points. Most challenging path.

Skill System

Paradox features four skill trees. Points invested only unlock eligibility — you still need Skill Core / Crystal / Gem to activate skills.

👊 Hakuda

Hand-to-hand combat. High raw damage, close range.

💨 Speed

Movement & evasion. Dash, teleport, mobility skills.

⚔️ Sword

Zanpakuto mastery. Balanced offense with crits.

✨ Kido

Spiritual arts. Range magic, AoE, crowd control.

Skill Breakthroughs

Kisuke drops skill stones at these Potential levels:

125Breakthrough 1
250Breakthrough 2
375Breakthrough 3
500Breakthrough 4
625Breakthrough 5

The Rarity Myth

Important: Rarity does NOT equal strength in Paradox. Common skills like Heaven Resurrection and Wind Shikai are A-tier, while Divinity Shikai (Legendary) is D-tier — one of the worst skills in the game.

Controls

  • W, A, S, D — Movement
  • Shift — Sprint / Dash
  • Left Click (M1) — Standard Attack
  • F — Block / Counter
  • E — Interact / Pick up
  • Tab — Open Skills Menu

Game Maps

  • Karakura Town — Neutral main city. World Boss spawns here hourly.
  • Soul Society — Soul Reaper home base. Dojo and Bankai training.
  • Hueco Mundo — Hollow territory. Includes Lab, Throne, Las Noches, Gorge.
  • Wandenreich — Quincy fortress. Yhwach spawns every 2 hours.
Pro Tip:

Use the Boss Timer to track World Boss (60 min) and Yhwach (120 min) spawns. Set reminders so you never miss farming opportunities!
